The West Bengal Public Service Commission conducts the state Civil Services Exam named WBCS Exam. The exam takes place annually or as and when the Commission announces the date. The WBPSC exam is a three-tier examination- Preliminary, Mains and Interview. You should take public service commission coaching to crack this examination.

The examination details and some necessary information have been updated below for your help. This will help you get a glimpse of the current situation.
- The Mains examination for the year 2020 was scheduled from 27th June 2020. The dates of the mains exam were 27th-28th June 2020 & 4th-5th July 2020.
- However, they have been postponed indefinitely until any further notice due to the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak all over the world. It has severely affected the academic structure.
- WBCS Prelims 2020 took place on 09 February 2020. The result of the Prelims examination is expected in July 2020 as informed by the commission.
Until and unless any further information comes up, you can keep all this information as to what seems relevant. We cannot expect much progress before the Coronavirus situation calms down. It is advised that you keep up with your preparation.
